Here is a guide to jailbreak your iPhone iTouch in 10 easy steps. This does not work on the new iTouch 2ng Gen.

Get the software and firmware, they are under our application and firmware section on our site. Download iPhone / iTouch 2.2 firmware & QuickPWN 2.2 and put the in the same folder.

1. Let start fresh. Start iTunes and update your phone to iPhone to the newest firmware 2.2, by hitting update or restore.

















2. After updating let the phone reboot and activate using iTunes.
3. Shutdown iTunes and start by launching Start QuickPwn22-1.exe
4. If your phone is still connected you should get a blue arrow, click it.














5. Click browse and browse to the directory where you downloaded your 2.2 firmware, (iPhone1,2_2.2_5G77_Restore.ipsw)














6. QuickPWN will hash the file (wait 30 seconds) and you should get a green checkmark, and the blue arrow, click the arrow again














7. Select if you want to Add Cydia, Installer and Replace boot Logos and click the blue arrow.














8. When you are ready to start click Blue Arrow














9. Follow the onscreen instructions on how to put your phone into DFU mode, simple way is hold both buttons till you hear a usb disconnect sound, then keep holding home(ROUND) button till you hear that sound again, at that point you will see the progress bar start, let go of the home button at this point.













10. Go get a drink wait 5 minutes and your phone should now be jailbroken.
