	Anonymous -  you cant you have to go back to 2.2 then install baseband downgrader in cydia and download it and run it, however if your bootloaded is 5.9 or newer it wont work and you will have to wait for another software unlock solution once it arrives from the DEV team. any more questions ask in our forum http://forum.iphone3g-mods.com

	iphone3g-mods -  ^^^ yes you can but its called a tethered jailbreak not permanent. This is how it works. Download blackra1n and click the button, your phone will reboot and cydia will be there, but if your battery dies you will have to do it again. I'm doing this with my kids iTouch until the untethered jailbreak comes out. It works fine, i put his iTOuch on the docking station and he can use it anytime battery never dies, even if it did all you have to do is connect the cable and click the blackra1n button, its not that it loses all its apps, it just puts the phone into recovery mode and blackra1n kicks it out.
