Jailbreaking 2.0.2 with Windows
Apple just released the 2.0.2 updated yesterday, and the dev team followed with a release of quick pwn beta software right afterwords. So if you updated by accident you didn't have to wait long this time to have your phone jail broken again. Ok so lets get to the juicy stuff. This update is still in beta but here are the steps that worked for us to get Cydia, Installer & 2.0.2 all at the same time.

Confirmed by multiple sources that phone will stay unlocked and activated and your contacts will still be there after the update. When you update to 2.0.2 your modem firmware also gets upgraded which might prevent future possible unlocks on your phone, so consider that before you start this process. But if you don't plan on unlocking and are happy with your carrier then lets go.
We tested on a contract carrier with a 3G phone, however many sources now confirm that it also works on the 2G headset and keeps it unlocked.
First lets grab the files you need to get this process complete.
1. Grabt the Quick PWN beta from here.
2. Then grab the 2.0.1 firmware. 3G Firmware 2G Firmware (Thanks Smartmouf)
Before we goto the jailbreak process, hookup your phone to iTunes and update to 2.0.2
Ok now to the jailbreak process.
Step 1.
Lets get the files setup. Extract the downloaded QuickPwn.zip file to a folder, we're going to use c:\unlock This will create another folder called quickpwn in the c:\unlock folder. Double click the quickpwn folder you should see such files as in the screen shot below.
Step 2.
Take the downloaded ipsw file and dump it to your folder that you extracted the files to, our case is c:\unlock\quickpwn\
Step 3.
Kill the following processes by clicking ctrl + alt + del and going into the task manager and selecting these three processes and clicking end now.
AppleMobileDeviceService
iPodService
itunesHelper
Step 4.
Hookup your phone while its on to your pc and start iPhone 3G.bat for 3G headset, or 2G for 2G headset. You should see something like you see below.
Step 5.
When it prompts you to turn of your phone, do so. Hold the power button uptop till you see the slide to power off pops up then slide to power off. Keep phone plugged in.
Step 6.
Put your phone into DFU Mode. Follow the given instruction onscreen, if you have problems here is a great Video Here showing you how to accomplish that.

When your phone is in DFU mode the software takes over and starts jailbreaking the phone, When it says Press any key to continue you are done, enjoy your new 2.0.2 jailbroken Iphone 2G/3G phone.
If you had any problems with DFU mode you might have to start the process again from step 1.

| Mario Dabek - sure but use our latest guide.. no harm in jailbreaking if you dont want the phone unlocked, meaning if you are staying with your provider... also you can always go back to factory firmware from itunes, there is no risk of ever bricking your phone unless you throw it against a brick wall :P | ||

 rsx191 - I did the jailbreak and i was installing a app and then the phone got stuck with the pineapple on the main screen. I tried to restore the phone with itunes. But that didnt work. Now i have a picture of a guy on my main screen. How can i get my phone back to normal? | ||
